First stint, 1 month
We stayed fairly close to home to figure out how in the hell to live in a van and what we really needed and not. We traveled in Washington and Oregon with a tiny dip into California during a white water rafting trip.

Second leg, 9 weeks
We visited some incredible state and national parks and started to really figure out what we were doing and what kind of pacing made sense for us. We made it back to Seattle in time to spend Christmas at home with our kids.

The big one
From January 23 to May 20 we were out on the road and it was epic! We started with a ski extravaganza for nearly 7 weeks, then headed south to thaw out. On our way back we stayed pretty central as it was still cold in the north, and we got to return to some areas we wanted to explore more.
